This thing definitely works! I sit at my desk a lot and I have recently developed some neck pain/soreness. You strap this device on your neck and it seems to fit on securely. What’s so helpful about it is that it prevents my neck from slouching which would probably be the main cause of my neck pain. It allows my neck to remain in a neutral position and not hurt as much over long sessions of sitting at my desk. Would recommend

This corrector has given me such relief! I wake up in the morning with nerve pain in both my hands. I wear this in the morning for a short time and I can regain feeling in my hands. Wearing it for too long makes the neck weak.

This neck stretcher works great for relieving pain in the neck and helping correct my posture. I work at home and sit at my desk for long periods of time. I have noticed that my posture has been very bad and has caused me severe neck and back pain. Using this stretcher has helped me tremendously with my neck and back pain. It is very easy to use and adjust, comfortable to wear as well. Definitely recommend.

Ordered this collar partly in desperation due to pain in my neck caused by a herniated disk (and also as my daughter had found it for me as she hoped to ease my neck pain although I was pretty sure that the location of the neck strap would cause me issues). My neck pain can bring on migraines if I am not careful and I cannot now turn or move my head very much without experiencing very bad nauseating pain which, if I do not take Anadin Extra reasonably promptly, sometimes with Stemetil if the pain and nausea are bad enough, can end up as a migraine which then needs a Maxalt Melt Wafer (Rizatriptan). While Maxalt will prevent it becoming a full blown migraine, which is extremely debilitating and makes me vomit and unable to open my eyes and gives me severe problems with walking or moving with how ill migraines and nauseous migraines make me feel, the after effects of the Maxalt wafer are not pleasant either so I had hoped that this cervical collar support may have helped though I was extremely dubious. Unfortunately, my fears materialised as the strap around the back of the neck put too much pressure on my herniated disk and made my neck pain more severe and bordering on a migraine before I had to give in and take it off. I have tried thus collar several times in different situations without success, much to the disappointment of my daughter. With how even halter neck bras or bikinis make my neck feel, I knew this collar was very unlikely to help me…and most probably going to irritate my problem…. but my daughter had spent some time trying to find something to ease my neck pain and I knew she would be very disappointed if I had not at least tried the collar. However, as suspected, it was money down the drain for me as it did not help at all but instead aggravated my problem. But I had to try for my daughter’s sake as she is desperate to find a way to alleviate my neck pain. Unfortunately, it was an expense that I could have done without and I knew at the time of ordering that it was highly unlikely to help me but it would have hurt my daughter’s feelings too much if I had not tried it. I don’t know if the collar could help some people if bad posture was only their problem but not those of use who have herniated disks in our necks as the strap causes too much tension in the area and causes swelling, tenderness and pain followed by nausea and the utterly horrible pain caused by pressure in the affected disk. In my opinion, the collar is also quite a restrictive item to wear and causes a build-up of tension but I received no instructions on how tight or slack to wear it – in fact, no instructions at all and it was somewhat unprofessionally wrapped in only a black plastic bag with no contact details at all. The claim that it is “Easy to fold and pack wherever you go.” is not true as it is not possible to fold it – fold the strap, yes, but not the actual brace. The claim that it is “Made of durable microfiber and cushioning foam.” must refer to the neck strap as the part that is worn under the chin and rests on the general area of the breast bone is made from plastic and is cold and hard; it does not cushion at all, nor could it be called microfibre so it must refer to the strap that goes around the neck. All things considered, I am extremely dissatisfied with it regardless of my disc problem. My husband did not find it all comfortable either and he also found it extremely restrictive. I do not believe it would be easy to relax in this collar at all as you can neither bend your neck or turn it to either side due to the frame that rests on your breastbone. The collar needs to be tightened quite a bit or, when you move your head, the framework slips down thereby completely removing the “support”. When the strap/collar is tightened, you can neither bend your neck forward or effectively look to either side. To be able to look down, even to see where to place your fingers on your keyboard, you have to bend your upper body which tightens the collar around your neck and this puts strain on your upper body and chest and places a lot of tension on the pulse areas of your neck so someone like me who has disc problems will experience pain as the strap then tightens around the back of your neck but I also felt as though not too much more pressure on the pulses at the side of my neck could cause at least a lot of discomfort if not actually unconsciousness if you had to lean forward/down for any length of time as I could feel a worrying sense of what I took to be light strangulation when I leant forward slightly. It also causes the lower part of the framework to dig into your breastbone area where it sits to prevent your neck from bending forward. As there are no instructions as to where exactly the framework is supposed to rest on your breastbone, it can either be lifted slightly to sit up higher, thereby stopping your neck from moving forward at all, or it can sit where it seems to naturally want to rest thereby allowing a slight movement of the neck down but, in both these positions, it digs into your breastbone area and the strap tightens around the back of your neck. Leaning forward to, eg, take handwritten notes, is painful on the breastbone area as the plastic frame digs in and the strap/collar tightens around the back of the neck. Even if I did not have a herniated disk, I would not find this cervical collar support beneficial. It does force your neck to sit up straight, thereby stopping you leaning forward, but it causes pain, and I believe could also cause injury, as there are times when you have to tip your head forward in everyday life but this then means that the strap tightens around the back of your neck and the frame digs into your upper chest. Attempting to turn your head causes pain due to the tightening of the collar. In order to gain the “support” of the collar, it must be tightened or you are able to move within it and the frame “waggles” ineffectively about. Whilst wearing it, I found that the tightness required gave me the feeling that the strap was cutting off the pulses in my neck and I could feel a headache building which would probably have become a migraine judging by the feeling on the pulse areas in side and back of my neck and head and there was also pain across my shoulders after wearing the brace for only a few minutes. But the strap having to be tight around the back of the neck to stop the entire framework from “waggling” really aggravated my cervical spine and the herniated disc bulge I have but I feel sure that others who do not have a similar problem to myself will also find that the collar/strap could cause pain and possibly even damage to your neck. However, as I received no instructions whatsoever, possibly I am not wearing it correctly although, for this to support your neck and keep it in a straight upwards position, it does require to be pretty tightly fastened. Sorry, but I am not impressed at all and am now quite worried that this could cause injury to some people. I would definitely not recommend this cervical collar as I am convinced that it would be too difficult to accidentally induce unconsciousness due to its design. The fact that there are no instructions, no contact details and no “after care” leaves me feeling that this is not a true cervical collar and I feel it could also cause injury to those wearing it.

Very helpful for my posture issues. While it’s not a perfect fit initially, with a bit of adjustment, it does the job. Comfortable to wear for a few hours. It’s a good investment for someone with minor posture correction needs.

This posture corrector has been a game changer for me. I used to suffer from a lot of neck and upper back tension due to long hours of sitting. After just a week of using it, I can already feel the difference in my posture. It fits comfortably, and the material feels breathable. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for neck and spine support.
